Biographical history

Physical educator, Athlete, 1922-1978. Patricia Austin was an internationally known physical education professor at the University of Alberta from 1947-1978. Her special interest was work with the mentally handicapped, including involvement in the Special Olympics program. Dr. Austin was also an avid golfer who won awards locally and nationally for her ability.
