Smith, professeur d'histoire du Canada à l'Université de Calgary, a préparé un article sur l'histoire de la Francophonie albertaine pour un collectif sur les groupes ethniques de l'Alberta publié sous la direction d'Howard Palmer Peoples of Alberta. L'article est d'abord paru en français dans le Bulletin du centre d'études franco-canadiennes de l'Ouest.
Donald B. Smith was a Canadian history professor at the University of Calgary, who prepared an article on the history of Franco-Albertans for a collective on the ethnic groupsof Alberta published under the direction of the Howard Palmer Peoples of Alberta. The articles first appeared in French in the Bulletin du centre d’études franco-canadiens de l’Ouest.
