Although currently called Social Studies, throughout the 100 years covered by this bibliography, many other subjects were included under the umbrella of Social Studies. The bibliography contains references to materials for the following courses: Civics, History, Geography, Economics, and Enterprise.
Enterprise was a curricular subject that was intended to include such varying topics/subjects as history, geography, and science. Enterprise was taught in Alberta schools from 1936 until 1967.
