Notepad published by Regal Coal of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Front and back covers of the notepad advertise for a contest to name a new type of coal from Drumheller, Alberta and explain the contest rules. All but one page of the notepad are blank. The cover is decorated by pencil doodles and is precariously bound to the rest of the notepad.

Telephone directory for Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, produced by Government Telephones. 

Two-page, handwritten letter from H.B. Newcomb in Saskatoon, SK to his family in Canning, NS.  Contents of the letter describe the dry weather conditions and the lack of work for himself and the thousands of unemployed workers.  The original envelope is with the letter.

Front cover contains the emblem of the Imperial Lodge No. 60. Below this it states: "Imperial Lodge No. 60 G.R.S., A.F. & A.M. Saskatoon." Inside the program is a letter of invitation to this Freemason event, along with the general business to be conducted at the meeting. The back cover contains a list of the Officers of Imperial Lodge No. 60, a list of Past Masters, and a list of those on several committees. Invitation has been folded in half  and has a few dirt smudges, but is in overall good condition. 

Report from the Saskatoon Police Department, dated March 28, 1934, and listing various items reported stolen. Items listed include a toilet bowl, alarm clock, jewelry, and clothing. Also lists a break and enter. A note at the bottom states: If any of the above mentioned articles should come into your possession, kindly notify the undersigned immediately. G.M. Donald, Chief Constable. 

Depicts 11 players in uniforms and 6 support staff sitting and standing with a football, (soccer ball), in front of them. Caption states: Postal Athletics-Saskatoon 1914.  Photograph shows minor scratches and scuffs, and it has started to fade around the edges. 

Certificate from the Independent Order of Odd Fellows made out to Mrs. M.E. McLelland for entrance into Rebekah Lodge, Saskatoon. Certificate contains multiple images in b&w, including doves, beehives, and a moon.

Receipt for $3.50, paid to Queen Esther Rebekah Lodge No. 5 of Saskatoon, by Mrs. W.E. McLellan. Receipt contains two images in b&w, and is signed by Otto Torrance.

Poster advertising ‘Saskatchewan’s Greatest Rodeo’, to be held at the exhibition grounds in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The poster includes two photographs, taken from the Calgary Stampede, depicting horseback riding and wagon events.

Diary and scrapbook written, compiled and bound by Anna Coombs, documenting her 1909 trip from London, England, through parts of Canada and the U.S. Describes visiting Quebec, Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Calgary, Edmonton and Banff, among other locations. Describes her experience of the journey, including the landscape and social life in Western Canada. Anecdotes include an account of visiting a Doukhabour village (pp. 36-7), and an incident where the car that the party is travelling in catches fire and is destroyed while travelling down a straw-covered road (pp. 37-38). Latter half includes a scrap book with postcards, brochures, time-tables, railway maps, etc. glued to the pages.

Advertisement for Purity Ice Cream featuring a road map of Saskatchewan and smaller maps of Saskatoon and Regina, with the location of the Purity dairy plants marked. Includes copy promoting ice cream as food for a king, explaining “why ice cream is good for you,” and encouraging farmers to sell their cream to purity. Also includes photos of the Purity Dairy Company plant in Saskatoon.

Poster for the travelling exhibition “Correspondences,” organized by the Walter Phillips Art Gallery at the Banff Centre School of Fine Arts. Featured works by Christopher Pratt, George Legrady, John McEwan, Tony Brown and Tim Zuck. The exhibition was shown at the Mendel Art Gallery, in Saskatoon SK, the Sir George Williams Art Galleries in Montreal QC, the Mount Saint Vincent Art Gallery in Halifax NS, and the Art Gallery of York University in York ON, from April to December, 1983. Background is an abstractly blurred red and black photograph.

Poster for the exhibition “Kurelek: Ukranian Pioneer Women,” held at the Ukranian Museum of Canada from August 5 to September 12, 1982. Lists the works shown and provides a description of the exhibition, which featured paintings by William Kurelek depicting Ukranian women settlers in Saskatchewan. Includes a detail of the painting “Blessing the Easter Paska” from the exhibition.

Poster advertising the The Saskatchewan Craft Council’s Second Biennial Juried Exhibition, which toured the province between November of 1980 and July of 1981. Lists schedule of showings at galleries in Regina, Moose Jaw, Saskatoon, Prince Albert, Weyburn, Swift Current and Yorkton.
