Group portrait of Samuel Steele, Alexander R. Macdonnell, and officers of the NWMP ca. 1888-1894; note on verso: "Macleod Officers - 1888, Wroughton; Wood; Alec; Sam. Front row: Starnes; Neale; Huot; Likely. Taken by A.H. Anderton.

A second copy of the photograph was discovered later and has Flora Steele's writing on verso. Flora identifies the men in the photograph as: Standing L-R: Inspector Wroughton; Inspector Z. Wood; Supt. A.R. Macdonell and Supt. S.B. Steele. Seated, L-R: Inspector Starnes; Supt. Neale, O.C.; Insp. Huot; Inspector Likely.
