A set of four holiday greeting cards and an included envelope. Each card has a different B&W photograph of a location in Edmonton, Alberta on the front. The photographs depict a dog train, the Grand Trunk Railway Hotel, and two shots of Jasper Avenue. Each card also has a small gold embossed circular design on the front with a holiday message. Inside each card is the same holiday greeting message. None of the cards have been signed.

An invitation and program of events for a Christmas party hosted by a "Cap. [Captain?] Weymark" at his residence in Owensville, Saskatchewan, in 1909. Includes program of speeches and song selections, lunch menu, and other relevant information about the event. Several attendees performing song selections are mentioned by name in the program.

Program - Given Before Lunch [includes speech by Cap. Weymark - "How Canada Should be Run"; song selections and music]; Lunch Menu [Meats; Entrees; Vegetables; Dessert; "Eat Your Fill and Give the House a Good Name"]; "Remember These Items" [a list of information about the party, including a request for "Persons singing Coon Songs" to wear blackface "for the occasion"]; "Laugh and the World Laughs With You".

A printed staff Christmas card from L.V. Taylor, R.N. from the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta. Inside the card is a newspaper clipping announcing the death of Miss Laufey Jennie Einarson, the assistant superintendent of nurses at the Royal Alexandra Hospital. There is an imprint of the newspaper clipping on the card, but it is unlikely the card was sent with the newspaper clipping inside.

A Christmas card from Cam Burke, the manager of the Alexandra Hotel in Calgary, Alberta. The Christmas card is titled “Presenting ‘Good Night Irene’ in 3 Acts Featuring Cam Burke.” When the card is unfolded to a half fold, the panel on the left side features Act I and depicts a grey composite image of the face of Cameron Burke over a cartoon image of someone driving a car in the country. Some of the lyrics of the song “Goodnight Irene” are written at the top of the panel. The Act II panel on the right side depicts a grey composite image of the face of Cameron Burke over a cartoon image of a person dressed in a suit driving a car in the city. The next line of lyrics from “Goodnight Irene” are written at the top of the panel. Once the card is fully unfolded there is a cartoon image of Cam Burke standing in front of the Alexandra Hotel and the text reads “Merry Christmas… Happy New Year” along with the final lyric from “Goodnight Irene.”
