These materials have been divided into three categories: Annual reports and gallery journals, Advertising and promotional material, and Exhibition catalogues and guides. Also included here are materials related to exhibitions and other art-related matters issued by individual artists and institutions that are not generally involved in the display and sale of art. Such items are described in a fourth category, Unaffiliated artists and organisations.
