An attached handwritten letter from A.M. Jarvis's Aunt J.J. Harwood Steele notes that the aunt talks about the fine reputation of Strathcona's Horse, and mentions Lord Dundonal's impending visit. He also says that the aunt's return address of "Charlecote Park" is associated with Shakespeare.

Attached handwritten letter to SBS from [James] Henderson vacationing in Lakewood, New Jersey. General news but referening money sent by the Steele's for Uncle John; also mentions sitting beside John D. Rockefeller at the resort dining room.
Attached handwritten letter to SBS from Flora Steele, sent with Marie Steele's letter of May 11, 1902. Flora talks about her First Communion and the gifts she received.
An attached letter from Harwood sent to SBS with Marie's letter of June 1st, 1902. 'Dubbie' has written some letters and was probably helped by his sister Flora with the writing of the letter.
A handwritten letter to Marie Steele from Inspector Alex Jarvis with the NWMP in the Yukon. He writes about people and changes in Dawson, and discusses his thoughts about leaving the force. Marie sent this letter to Sam in a letter she wrote dated June 17th, 1902.
A handwritten letter sent to Marie Steele from Elmes Steele and forwarded to SBS in a letter Marie sent dated June 22nd, 1902. In this letter, Elmes explains why he needed to borrow money from the Steeles, and details how it will be spent.
A handwritten letter sent to J.A. Harwood (Gus?) from the John B. Stetson Company, and forwarded on to SBS in a letter from Marie dated July 27th, 1902. The Company representative is responding to a report that SBS's hat was damaged upon receipt in South Africa.
Attached wedding invitation enclosed in a letter to SBS from Marie dated August 3rd, 1902. The invitation is from Captain J. O'Donnell of S.A.C. inviting SBS to the wedding of his daughter Mabel to Captain J. Sholto Douglas, also of S.A.C.
Attached letter from J.A. Dickey sent with Marie's letter of June 25th, 1907. Dickey is sorry he will not be seing Steele soon, and tells him of his remarriage.
A letter originally sent to Solicitors Lighthall & Harwood (acting on behalf of SBS), and regarding disagreement over outstanding monies owed for Sam's living quarters in England. The letter has been copied by hand by Marie Steele, and includes her added comments at the end of the letter.
A handwritten letter sent to SBS from Minnie; Sam forwarded it to Marie to read, and Marie returned Minnie's letter with her letter to Sam dated September 17th, 1907. Minnie is writing from 'The Barracks, Macleod' to SBS at Ca;gary.

Attached letter to SBS from Flora Steele sent in a letter from Marie Steele, dated August 9th, 1907. Flora writes about the "machine" for her teeth that arrived from the U.S.A. and will be put on her teeth by her Uncle; she also describes a recent family visit to Dominion Park.
