Certificate affirms that their marriage was solemnized at Calgary, Alberta by Reverend J. G. Herdman, in the presence of Minnie Herdman and Lizzie Londoun, on 8 Feb. 1887, and was registered on 13 May 1889.

A collection of cabinet cards depicting notable Calgarian figures posed in front of the same background which consists of a wolf head mounted on the wall, and various photographs hanging over a table with some books and flowers on it. All of the men in the photographs are sitting in a chair. All of the photographs were taken in Calgary, Alberta in 1893 by [R. Randolph Bruce]. These four cabinet cards and photographs are from a series of photographs taken of members of the Calgary organization known as the Pack of the Western Wolves. The first card depicts D.H. Andrews with the caption “I have used no other.” The second card depicts Dr. Lorne Campbell and the caption reads “$10 or 40 days!!” The third card depicts J. Stone and the caption reads “The farming sportsman.” The fourth and final card depicts R.W. Richardson and the caption reads “The Agricultural Monopolist.”

Two letters featuring idiosynchratic spelling and grammar from the Calgary Chief of Police Thomas English to boxer Walter W Weir in Vernon, B.C., dated June 25, 1905 and July 24, presumably of the same year but not indicated. The first letter discusses English's thoughts on Vernon and "the B C people," other boxers, and a potential tournament in Calgary where English hoped Weir would come and "put some quietus on some more of the hot air fraturnity." The second letter is informing Weir the tournament will be held on August 10-12.

Two handwritten letters from Charles French to his wife and children. The first letter dated May 29th, 1907, was sent from Calgary, Alberta, and was written on Grand Central Hotel stationery. Charles French writes about the current state of Calgary and opportunities for making money there. He describes Calgary in a favourable light. The second letter dated May 30th, 1907, was sent from Edmonton, Alberta, and was written on The Hotel Cecil stationery. In this letter, he writes that he does not like the area at all and does not think he will stay there. The third letter, which is typed on C.A. French & Sons Grain, Flour, Coal, and Mill Feeds stationery, is written to Charles French from one of his sons, H.G. French. The letter informs Charles that he must purchase more corn. The last item is a business card for Charles A. French in Bellmont, Illinois.

A program for the First Motor Racing Meet for the Calgary News Telegram Cup. The racing meet was held on the Gridiron Course at the South East Calgary Corporation’s Boulevard in Calgary, Alberta, on August 12, 1911. The race was held by the Motor Racing Association and the program was printed by Star Printing Works. Inside the program is a list of all the participating cars, their names, owners, drivers, horsepower, the time it takes to start, and a blank column for their race time. Some of the times for the cars have been filled out in pencil. On the back of the program is a short list of rules and regulations.

The album largely consists of B&W photographs of hydroelectric dams and power plants in the Canadian Rockies, particularly Banff, Kananaskis Country, Seebe, Ghost River, and the Horseshoe Dam. Of particular note are approximately 24 photographs showing the aftermath of the fire that destroyed the Horseshoe plant in 1940 and approximately 20 photographs showing the construction of the Ghost Hydroelectric Dam.

The album also contains some personal photographs, including landscapes, wildlife, Boy Scout and Cub Scout events, houses, family portraits, children, Indigenous people in Banff, and photographs commemorating trips taken in Western Canada and the United States.

Also present are greetings from Lethbridge's Mayor A. W. Shackleford, Arena Director Gordon A. An insurance plan of the city of Calgary, Alberta from November 1954, which was partially revised in October 1963. This particular plan is marked as Vol. 4. The plan consists of a master title page which includes a key of signs, a revision page which consists of a list of block number changes in this volume, and 45 detail sheets of the city. On the cover of the plan, there is a note indicating that the plan was made by and is the property of the Underwriters Survey Bureau, Limited in Toronto, Ontario. The copyright for the plan is registered in Ottawa, Ontario. The plan is listed as Copy No. 114 and is issued to the Royal Agencies Limited in Calgary, Alberta. Each page of the detail sheets displays various streets and buildings in the city of Calgary and the colour of each building indicates the type of construction material used for that particular building. This particular plan consists of primarily residential neighbourhoods.

Each page of the detail sheets displays various streets and buildings in the city of Calgary and the colour of each building indicates the type of construction material used for that particular building. Several pages have new drawings pasted over the originals, presumably due to the revisions. This particular plan consists of residential neighbourhoods as well as industrial and retail complexes.

Several of the pages are B&W paper copies as opposed to the original cardstock pages and are presumably the revisions done in 1961 and 1972. This particular plan consists of residential neighbourhoods as well as industrial areas, retail complexes, and main streets.

An advertisement book and program for the Optimists Club's Boys' Town annual meeting at Western Canada High School in Calgary, Alberta, dated May 26-27, 1954. It consists primarily of advertisements for local businesses, with the event program on a single-sided orange page in the center. Also includes a foreword, "The Optimist Creed," a photograph of the Royal Family, messages from Mayor D. H. Mackay and Chief Constable L. S. Partridge, a list the board of governors of the Calgary Optimist Club, captioned photographs of school sports teams, and information on some of the scheduled performers.

Also provides information on "Facilities unequalled in Calgary" and "Select[ing] your menu and style".

Includes a sample menu displaying "Year-round Favorites" and their Christmas Menu, as well as a building plan of the facilities and a map to the Rockyview Park grounds.
