An insurance plan of the city of Edmonton, Alberta from October 1953. This particular plan is marked as Vol. 5. The plan consists of a Master Title page which contains a Key Plan and a tab that reads "Edmonton Vol. 5," a cropped paper page containing the "List of Block Number changes in this Volume," and 48 detail sheets of the town. On the cover of the plan, there is a note indicating that the plan was made by the Canadian Underwriters’ Association in Toronto, Ontario. Each page of the detail sheets displays various streets and buildings in the city of Edmonton and the colour of each building indicates the type of construction material used for that particular building. This plan consists of primarily retail and industrial areas.

Two copies of a revised insurance plan of the city of Edmonton, Alberta from June 1966. These particular plans are marked as Vol. 7. They consist of a Master Title page which contains a Standard Key of Signs, one has 29 detail sheets of the town, and the other has 17. On the covers of the plans, there is a note indicating that they were made by and are the property of the Canadian Underwriters’ Association in Toronto, Ontario. The copyright for the plan is registered in Ottawa. No copy number or issue recipient is listed. Each page of the detail sheets displays various streets and buildings in the city of Edmonton and the colour of each building indicates the type of construction material used for that particular building. These plans consists of primarily retail and industrial areas.

A collection of approximately 70 invoices and receipts, 24 monthly account statements, and 21 pieces of business correspondence addressed to Donald McFadden from Maple Leaf Mills Ltd., and the Master Feeds Division of Maple Leaf Mills Ltd., in 1966. Documents span the period of time from 31 December 1965 to 30 December 1966.

Invoices and receipts largely record purchases of feed, non-quota feed grain, veterinary supplies, and various other supplies and equipment related to the care and raising of Donald McFadden's poultry flocks. Several invoices have been marked up with handwritten notes to indicate the purpose of the purchase [including for "No. 1 Flock", "No. 2 Flock", "Breeders", and "Broilers"] and with checkmarks.

Monthly account statements are organized into 2 stapled bundles: 12 statements are related to a general account, and 12 statements are related to Donald McFadden's "Loan Account".

Credit and debit memorandums are business correspondence which record the charging or crediting of funds to Donald McFadden's accounts with Maple Leaf Mills Ltd., in order to correct erroneous charges made on previous invoices.

Records span the period of time from 12 December 1966 to 29 December 1967. Contents include a series of receipts for income tax deductions and Canada Pension Plan [CPP]; 2 "Notices of Assessment", 1 from the Manitoba Workmen's Compensation Board and 1 under the Income Tax Act; insurance payments [life; fire; hail insurance]; farm and personal loan payments; bank transaction receipts; and various household and farm- or business-related purchases such as stationery, chemicals, small hardware, fuel, etc.

Additionally includes 12 handwritten notes, dated between 27 January 1967 and 31 December 1967, which contain details of various payments made by or to Donald McFadden for personal or business-related purchases. A series of 6 handwritten notes are attached to income tax receipts, and contain additional details about the income tax deductions and CPP contributions on the receipt.

Purchases include: hardware and supplies used for improvements to a fence; hardware and supplies used for building turkey nests; supplies and labour costs for the installation of two stoves in the No. 1 Building; supplies used for the maintenance of or repairs to a trailer and No. 1 Building; a used freezer and refrigerator; a 6444F-80 Monarch Cent pump; orders of canvas turkey saddles from the United States; and a 1963 Ford Galaxie car.

Throughout the booklet, there are various information tables and charts supporting the claims made in the report.
