The outstanding achievement award is given to former graduates of the University of Minnesota who have attained distinction in their area of study and demonstrated outstanding leadership. It was earned by Harris for his influential work in teaching analytical chemistry and research work in hot-atom chemistry, chromatography and polarography. This certificate was awarded at the 36th Annual meeting of the Institute of Technology Alumni Association on November 2, 1973.

The Reta Rowan fonds covers the years from 1940 to 1971. The material consists of correspondence, minutes, briefs, reports, publications, periodicals, newspapers, drawings, print and negative photographs. The books in the Reta Rowan fonds were listed on a separate inventory in 1977. Originally, the majority of the files were arranged in chronological order under the society's or association's title, while the remainder were filed by the organization's name or by subject, or left unlabelled. Mrs. Rowan's arrangement has been followed where possible but all unlabelled or loose files have been placed in the proper year or provided with a subject title.

This collection is in development and currently consists of over 500 first-edition Harlequin paperback books including their first publication in 1949. Fiction genres include adventure, western, mystery, detective, thriller, romance, and science fiction. There are also non-fiction publications such as a twenty-fifth anniversary book listing Harlequin publications from 1949 to 1974, a cookbook, and information guides relating to knitting, cars, curling, physical fitness, and etiquette. The collection includes works by notable authors such as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Agatha Christie. This collection has significant research potential in Canadian prairie publishing, genre publishing history, vintage pulp fiction, and the history of the romance genre.

Guide to the Rutherford and McCuaig Families 1885-1982

Accession contains 3 audio cassettes containing a presentation with Peter Lown.

This accession consists of records related to Dr. Luce Gauthier's career as a theoretical physicist, including research findings for Dr. Gauthier's PhD thesis in quantum mechanics, titled Test of Resonance Recognition Criteria in Potential Scattering. Additionally, this accession contains correspondence, research reports, copies of publications, course teaching materials, and keepsakes from Dr. Gauthier's time at the University of Alberta.

This fonds contains offprints of Lewytskyj's newspaper and journal articles (1941-1980), unpublished reports and conference papers, diploma and PhD from Ukrainian Free University (Munich). Also contained are rare Ukrainian political journals of the 1940s. Materials are both conservation photocopies and originals.

The William Elmer Adkins Fonds consists of 165 black and white photos in three albums. The fonds also includes three Oils Sands Project reports with illustrations, tehcnical charts and maps, and a 20 minute interview on audio tape.

This accession consists of a rich variety of materials from the personal life and academic work of Ivan Lysiak Rudnytsky. As a historian and a professor, Rudnytska amassed an impressive collection of articles, booklets, rare book photocopies, bibliographies, thesis, and original research materials. A prolific letter writer, this accession features his corrrespondence with a range of his contemporaries and family members. This correspondence includes postcards and small photographs.

Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) on a field trip to Steep Rock Mine in Atikokan, September 1984. TAC went as part of their efforts to research the Canadian Shield. During WWII, the lake at this site had been drained and iron ore was recovered. It had since been refilling with water. Harris' job was to complete a risk assessment of the area. The ACFA fonds enables to trace back the development of accomplishments in the Franco-albertan community ; it contains several testimonies on activities, religious, political, economic, pedagogical or cultural, in which Franco-albertans were involved over the course of the 20th century. It also contains national, provincial, regional and local documents. In particular, there are administrative and financial documents, meeting minutes, correspondence, and publications. The fonds also includes documents about the CHFA radio station and the journals La Survivance and Le Franco.
