"Sclerotinia stem rot, also known as white mould, is one of the most devastating diseases in canola production. Sclerotinia is usually most severe in the higher moisture areas of the Prairies. But with the right combinations of adequate moisture and susceptible host, heavy infections can develop almost anywhere."

The Dr. Brian Llewellyn Evan fonds is a very rich and diverse acquisition of materials depicting the life and primarily teaching and research career of Brian Evans. The fonds comprises a broad scope of records comprising mainly of textual materials reflective of his teaching, research travel and role as a professor of history, University administrative functions in various roles and his involvement with the Chinese Community in Alberta.

This subseries consists of DVDs relating to P.L. Travers and Mary Poppins that were collected by Dr. Margaret Mackey and donated to the University of Alberta Libraries. It contains a DVD version of the original 1964 Disney live-action adaptation and Disney's dramatisation of P.L. Travers life, the 2013 movie Saving Mr. Banks.

This sub-subseries consists of books written by other authors that either reference The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, retell its story in some manner, or take place within the world of Oz. Which were collected by Dr. Margaret Mackey and donated to the University of Alberta Libraries.

Commemorative Plaque - Campus Alberta signed by Alberta University Presidents

An informational package outlining the Canola Council of Canada's (CCC) 10-year strategic plan, "Keep It Coming 2025", produced by the CCC in January 2014. Package consists of a CCC-branded folder containing a press release; "The Canola Council of Canada Strategic Plan" booklet; and "The Science" booklet.

The press release, titled "Canada's Canola Industry Sets Bold New Targets for 2025", outlines the contents of the strategic plan and the canola industry's three priorities for reaching the targets.

Priorities include:
Priority 1: Sustainable, Reliable Supply - "Sustainably and profitably increase annual canola production in Canada to meet global demand for 26 million tonnes of Canadian canola by increasing yield to an average of 52 bushels per acre. Improve quality characteristics of seed, oil and meal to meet new and existing customer requirements".
Priority 2: Differentiated Value in the Marketplace - "Meet global demand of 26 million tonnes by differentiating and demonstrating the quality characteristics of seed, oil and meal to meet new and existing customer requirements at a competitive price."
Priority 3: Stable and Open Trade - "Creating a competitive, stable and open trade environment that consistently allows the industry to attain the maximum value for canola and its products free of tariff and non-tariff trade barriers."

This series consists of materials collected by Dr. Margaret Mackey and donated to the University of Alberta Libraries. It contains materials in multiple media formats that relate to P.L. Travers and her children's book series Mary Poppins. It features books of the stories of Mary Poppins in multiple editions and versions, writings on the author P.L. Travers, and DVDs of the Disney motion picture adaptation of Mary Poppins and the dramatised story of P.L. Travers, Saving Mr. Banks.

A pamphlet advertising Hardcover, Edmonton’s artist’s book and zine fair on December 6th and 7th, 2014. The pamphlet advertises various workshops occurring at Snap Printshop, some talks occurring around the city, and the various participants in the book and zine fair. When the pamphlet is unfolded to a half and trifold, there are instructions for some zine and bookbinding techniques as well as some book terminology. When the pamphlet is fully unfolded, there is a poster on the back that reads “I have always imaged that paradise will be a kind of library” which is a quote by Jorge Luis Borges.
