Dr. William Wonders collected papers comprise 10 metres and consist of correspondence and publications related to his career as a geographer and teacher, working files on his participation as a member of organizations for professional geographers, historians, and social scientists, and his reference collection of press clippings and reports relating to the world north of 60o. Canada, Alaska, the Arctic, and Scandinavia are chiefly represented in the collection.

Accession consists of recordings of interviews with Desmond Crossley, recorded in Sidney, BC by Peter Murphy of the U of A Department of Forest Science. The subjects covered include the specific contracts and practices in forest management of St. Regis (Alberta) Ltd., innovations in surveying and reforestation, public relations and land use. The interviewers also discuss the histories of the Canada Forest Research Branch and the Canadian Institute of Forestry, in both of which Mr. Crossley played a significant role.
