Part of Prairie Ephemera Collection

The B&W photograph depicts a long shot of a large public display where a crowd gathers behind a large barn-building with the words “See Canada’s Best Live Stock” written in very large letters. At the forefront of the picture there is a shaded figure of a man wearing a hat as he observes the display. The focus of the man’s figure is shallow, whereas deep focus is used for the farther plane depicting the background public display and the crowd.
