Contains correspondence to Robert Bell from William Armstrong. Correspondence contains personal communications regarding drawings and sketches. Correspondence sent from Toronto, Ontario to the Geological Survey headquarters in Montreal, Quebec. William Armstrong (1822-1914) immigrated to Canada from Ireland in 1851. He was a railway engineer and enjoyed painting and sketching. More information on William Armstrong can be found in the Canadian Encyclopaedia.

Contains correspondence to Robert Bell from Walton Haydon. Correspondence contains personal communications regarding specimen studies and finding survey work. Correspondence sent from Moose Factory, Ontario and East Selkirk, Manitoba to the Geological Survey headquarters in Montreal, Quebec. Dr. Walton Haydon entered the Hudson's Bay Company's service in 1877 and was an amateur collector of natural history. More information on Walton Haydon can be found in the HBC Archives.

It consists of two bags from Anne of Green Gables stores, a box for Anne of Green Gables chocolates, several pamphlets (in English, French, Japanese, and Polish), bookmarks, and stamps relating to the Anne of Green Gables centenary, a playbill, a page from a catalogue, and a TV Guide with an Anne of Green Gables article.

This subseries consists of books relating to author Philip Pullman and his Dark Materials series of books that were collected by Dr. Margaret Mackey and donated to the University of Alberta Libraries. It contains various versions and editions of the His Dark Materials series, including a graphic novel and supplementary novels. There are also materials relating to the live-action adaptation of the first novel The Golden Compass that include activity books, game guides, magazines, and movie novelizations, and a collection of non-fiction work written about the His Dark Materials series, as well as works relating to the stage-play of the series, including a script and works on the play. This subseries consists of the following sub-subseries: His Dark Materials (1995-2015), The Golden Compass Movie Materials (2007), Other Works by Philip Pullman (1996-2000), Writings on His Dark Materials (2001-2009), and Stage Play Adaptation (2003-2004).
