Biographical history

Theresa Alta Wilton (née Iddings) was born in Woodbury, Iowa in 1900, but moved to Rimbey, Alberta in 1903. She studied at the University of Alberta, graduating with a BA degree in Home Economics in 1924. She married Charles Robert Wilton and they had four children. Wilton and her family moved to Nanaimo, British Columbia in 1944 and she passed away there in 1988.

Wilton was involved with the alumni of the U of A. She and her husband were avid square dancers in Nanaimo.

Scope and content

Accession consists of memorabilia and photographs collected by Theresa Alta Iddings (later Mrs. Wilton) from the University of Alberta Class of '24.
