    1. Alberta Government Photograph - Social Credit Table.
      25.5 x 14 cm black/white photograph
      Depicts government officials sitting around an oval table.
      Caption on the back reads:
      Right- Harry Strom (Med Hat) Premier; Dr. J. Donovan Ross (Scona), Ernest C. Manning;  Alf J. Hooke (RM House), Ted Hinman (moved to coast), Ray Reierson, Fred Colborne (Calgary) Art Dixon; Gordon Taylor- Minister-Highways (then Federal member), Dr. Ross died 1954, Harry Strom- (later Premier) died Oct 2, 1984.
      Left of Picture- Gordon Taylor (Highways)(Drumheller) (Later became MP for Drumheller);  Ambrose Holowach (Edmonton East); Norman Willmore (Edson)(killed in auto accident); Anders J. Aalborg (Alexandra), Russell Patrick (Lacombe); Ethel S.       Caption on the back reads: Edward Swann; 21 mos/ Adopted; Swanns visited us while he was doing research on SoCredit for his university. We took he + his wife out for supper (Elisa ‘was with us’).

    3. Local Social Credit Convention.

      Photograph is a diagonal medium shot of two men and two women (presumably Social Credit members) interacting with Social Credit convention organizers, who are sitting behind a desk with paperwork and a typewriter. The handwritten caption on the bottom reads "Overland." The handwritten caption on the back reads “local SC convention.” A reproduction of this photograph published in a newspaper contains a caption that reads: "Socreds Meet- Delegates registered Tuesday for the annual three-day Alberta Social Credit League convention in the Macdonald. Shown are D.A. Fraser of Bow Island and O.M. Reber of Burdett. Mrs. G. Arksey is registration clerk."   
            

    4. 25th Annual Alberta Social Credit League Convention.

      Shows a celebratory dinner commemorating the 25th Annual Convention of the Alberta Social Credit League. Shot shows an ornate room decorated with chandeliers and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II at the centre of the photo. There are two perpendicular tables; the head table is placed against the British and Alberta flags and the guests sit facing the rest of the room. Ernest Manning and Orvis Kennedy sit at the far centre. A multilevel cake stands at the centre with the number 25 at its height, and a visible table in the foreground. Caption on the back reads "25th Annual Convention; Alta. Social Credit League; MacDonald Hotel Banquet Room; Some at head table- Mrs. Ian F. The man at the centre is holding a book titled “The Social Credit Movement in Alberta.” The caption on the back of the photograph reads: "Ian F. Smith; J. Arthur Davies; Ernest C. Manning; Orvis A. Kennedy; Francis C. Porter; with Prof. John Irving’s Book." The caption handwritten below the photograph on the photo album reads "–Ian Smith; -Art Davies;- Orvis A. Another woman looks on in amusement (based on caption on related photos, she might be Edith Arksey). There is a wheelchair next to Manning with two crutches on top of it. The bottom right contains a logo that reads "Ernst of Goertz; Edmonton."

      Depicts a woman standing in front of an establishment that reads "Credit Convention, July 5 6 7." The caption reads: "1964; July 5, 6, 7; Cecil Clyma New York." Cecil Clyma is presumably the woman standing in the photograph.

      Photograph of Frank Parker and Muriel Stewart. The background is unclear but appears to include a sign that reads "Simpsons." Caption on the back reads "Dad Parker + S.C.       Depicts two women turning to the camera; they appear to be crossing a busy street and surrounded by large buildings and several vehicles. The caption on the back reads "Mom + Mrs." and includes a Kodacolor print stamp with the date July 1961. The caption next to the photograph reads "Cecil Clyma’s Mother."

      Duplicate of item 7; caption on the back reads "Mom Parker + Mrs Cecile Clyma’s Mother at Social Credit National Convention; July 1961- Ottawa." There is also a Kodacolor stamp with the date July 1961.

    18. Group at Dinner

      Group of people dining in a restaurant. The shot depicts eight people sitting around a rectangular table glancing at the camera. The caption on the side of the photograph reads "Jan. 61." The caption beside the photograph written on the photo album reads "Board- At the 'Steak Loft' for Lunch." The back of the photograph has a manufacturer stamp that reads "Made right in Alberta by Film Services LTD. Edmonton" and includes a square frame with the word "Superior" inside. This photograph, while taken in colour, has a warm tint throughout, perhaps the result of persistent exposure to light.

      There is a 10.5 x 7 cm colour photograph of an establishing shot of a Christmas-lit house. Beside it are the words “Holiday Greetings; From our house to yours” along with small decorative houses. The handwritten caption reads "Kennedys (sic) house; 149 St; Orvis and Gladys Kennedy."

      Depicting two men, two women, and one unidentifiable person whose only visible body part is an arm. They are having a meal in a diner. The caption on the left frame reads "Sep. 58." Based on captions from other photographs, the man and woman on the left side are likely to be Frank and Mary Parker, and the man and woman on the right are likely George Whittingback and Olga Machula. This photograph has embrowned somewhat, primarily at the top edges.

      Depicting an office and six people doing various things. There are two men and four women. Based on captions from other photos, the following identifications of the people in the foreground can be appreciated: the man at the centre staring at the camera is likely Frank Parker, the woman sitting on the right is Mary Parker, and the woman sitting with her feet up on the desk is Grace Hunter. The caption on the right frame reads "Jan. 63."

    26. League Office Downstairs in Edmonton

      Depicts the same office room as item 20. The people in it are the also the same, save for the addition of Garnet Peterson in place of Grace Hunter, who is likely the photographer. The red, handwritten caption on the back of the photograph reads: "When the boss is away; League Office Downstairs- 9944 Jasper Ave Edmonton; Back; Jean Durrington (at mailing table); Glen Cumming (young people’s president), (Leaning on Orvis’ door Edith Arksey (sic), H.E.       Depicting a woman sitting amongst trees and bushes. The caption on the back reads "Violet Grey; Violet Grey S.C. Friend; Australia Brisbane; I corresponded with them for several years." This item is related to item 24, as the captions suggest they were sent together by Violet Grey, the recipient’s pen pal. There is a handwritten caption on the photo album, below the photographs, that reads "The Greys- Brisbane, Australia."

      From “The Executive and Staff of The Alberta Social Credit League; Edmonton.” Inside the card there is a customized thank you note and a tinted photograph of an Alberta Social Credit office member; the caption reads “Remembering our 23rd annual convention.” Document has yellowed considerably and shows scattered rips and tears.
