- Newspaper articles regarding the Social Credit Conventions:
A) 14 x 27.8 cm clipping from the Calgary Herald, dated November 23, 1959 and titled: "Socreds Expect 300 At League Meeting." Article contains one b&w photograph at the top of the page depicting two men and two women around a table. It is captioned: "Social Credit Delegates Register. The first of an expected 300 delegates to the 25th annual convention of the Alberta Social Credit League were registering in the Palliser Hotel today. The main convention meets Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, while the women’s auxiliary is in session today. Young Social Crediters met Saturday. Above, party organizer Orvis Kennedy, standing at rear, supervises registration."
B) 14.8 x 27 cm article titled: "Social Credit League Opens Three-Day Convention Here." Contains one b&w photograph at the top of the page depicting two men being handed a paper by a woman across a table. The caption reads: "Socreds Meet - Delegates registered Tuesday for the annual three-day Alberta Social Credit League convention in the Macdonald. Shown are D. A. Fraser of Bow Island and O. M. Reber of Burdett. Mrs. G. Arksey is registration clerk." Copy of this item is located in F-8-1-0-15.
C) 14.8 x 15.5 cm newspaper article from the Edmonton Journal titled: "Socred convention turning auditorium upside down." A handwritten note on the right side dates the article to December, 1968.
