A view of the S.S. Suevic in port. On verso, Harwood Steele has written: "S.S. 'Suevic' in which Col. S.B. Steele and family returned to England on Steele leaving SAC. This ship was wrecked on the Lizard (Cornwall) on next voyage. At least one half was saved to be joined to a new half and put back into service. No lives were lost. Harwood Steele, 1971."
