Although the album contains a few photographs of British Columbia locations (most notably of a hunting trip to Flathead, B.C.), the majority of images are from Alberta. Hunting and agricultural scenes of Ardrossan and of buffalo herds in Wainwright are prominently featured. The album also contains portraits of friends, family, and dogs taken at St. Paul de Metis, Vegreville, Edson, and Red Deer. Several photographs of Edmonton - including images of a flood [1915?], the Hudson's Bay Company's 250th anniversary celebration in 1921, and the royal visit of 1939 - are present.
