Scope and content
The program for the Father and Son Banquet held Tuesday, February 12, 1929 at Chalmers United Church. The event's entertainment included piano, violin, and vocal performances, with singing led by the St. James Orchestra, conducted by Mr. Stanford. This is likely the St. James Concert Orchestra of Winnipeg founded by Fred Stanford in 1920.

Physical condition
The page is single-sided and shows evidence of having once been pasted into a scrapbook, presumably. There are two rough holes on the left margin, likely from a binder ring. A short news clipping summarizing the same event is pasted to the lower part of the program. A second piece of paper was pasted to the bottom of the program, adding almost four (4) centimeters.
