A pamphlet written by William Irvine ca. 1940, in rebuttal to "The Records Tell the Story", a political pamphlet produced by the Alberta Social Credit Party government in 1939.

"The purpose of this pamphlet is to reply and in doing so give the proof that "The Records Tell the Story" does not tell the truth, but that the official records to which it sends us for verification says the very opposite in some important instances to that which is claimed by the publication in question. Is it because the Government knows that 99 per cent of the electorate will never see the official record and therefore will never verify the "story" that it has permitted so many falsehoods to be published?"
