History
Dr. Roderick C. Macleod is a professor in the Department of History and Classics at the University of Alberta. Dr. Macleod received his B.A. in History from the University of Alberta in 1963, his M.A. in History from Queen's University in 1967 and his Ph.D. in History from Duke University in 1969.
Dr. Macleod's research focuses on Western Canada, Canadian Legal History, and Canadian Military History. Dr. Macleod has written and edited several books including, All True Things: A History of the University of Alberta, 1908-2008 and The North West Mounted Police and Law Enforcement 1873-1905.
Dr. Macleod is currently a Professor Emeritus at the University of Alberta.
