              A fund-raising flyer for the St. Boniface Orphanage and Old Folks Home in St. Boniface, Manitoba. The flyer includes a note from the Sisters of Charity (Grey Nuns) and a note from the orphans residing at the orphanage urging the reader of the flyer to consider donating money to the establishment. At the bottom of the flyer is a section the recipient can fill out with their name and address and the amount of money they’d like to donate. The photographs included in the flyer are several group photographs of those residing at the establishment.

              Two leaflets for Team Products Alberta in Calling Lake, Alberta, a cooperative of 500 Indigenous artists and craftspeople in those regions. The first leaflet is an information sheet for the Alberta and Mackenzie District and outlines the qualifications and guidelines for products that a person may want to sell through Team Products Alberta. The leaflet also provides instructions for how to send product samples to the company for evaluation. The second leaflet is a blank handicrafts questionnaire that asks questions regarding the seller’s product such as the inventory, price, materials being used, and community support.

              A leaflet for the Edmonton Standard Coal Company in Edmonton, Alberta relaying general information about the company and share options for investment. The coal mine in Edmonton, Alberta started producing coal in January 1906. The leaflet was printed around [1910?] by Rous & Mann. Limited Printers in Toronto, Ontario. The leaflet provides information about the company such as the production process of coal, the average coal seams on the property, the need for increased output of coal, yearly outputs and cost of production, why the company is a safe investment, mine management, and a recent auditor’s report of the mining account for the financial period ending on February 28, 1910. Shares for the company are advertised as costing $100 each.

              A general letter from Louis W. Heard, the President of the Beacon Group No.1 of the Youth Division Alberta Social Credit League in Edmonton, Alberta. The letter is addressed to “the Supporters Who made my Trip to the Youth Congress Possible!” The letter is dated June 16, 1938. The letter outlines L.W. Heard’s experience at the Congress and their efforts to ensure the Social Credit League was accepted at the Congress and not ostracized, as well as the events of the Congress. The letter also reiterates the goals and objectives of the Alberta Social Credit League and thanks the recipients for their donation that made the trip to Congress possible.

              An instruction booklet for the 27th Annual Camp of the Alpine Club of Canada, written by W.R. Tweedy, the Secretary-Treasurer of the club. The camp was scheduled for July 18 to August 1, 1932, at the Mt. Sir Donald Camp in Glacier National Park in the Selkirk Mountains. The instruction booklet includes rules and regulations regarding the objective of the camp, the date, the closest railway stations, transportation, baggage, outfits, camp location, climbs, expeditions, and campfires. There are also instructions about how someone can become a member of the Alpine Club of Canada. The booklet was printed by G.A. Roedde LTD in Vancouver, BC.
