Anne of Green Gables

This sub-subseries consists of books relating to the Anne of Green Gables novel series that were collected by Dr. Margaret Mackey and donated to the University of Alberta Libraries. It contains edited and adapted versions of the original novels, non-fiction books that explore Anne of Green Gables and society, other books within the Anne of Green Gables canon written by L.M. Montgomery and Canadian author Budge Wilson, books relating to the 1985 television mini-series, activity books, scrapbooks, and a pop-up book.

Road to Avonlea

This sub-subseries consists of books from authors Gail Hamilton and Heather Conkie's adaptations of the 1990s television series Road to Avonlea that is based on L.M. Montgomery's 1912 series Chronicles of Avonlea and its sequel Further Chronicles of Avonlea. Which were collected by Dr. Margaret Mackey and donated to the University of Alberta Libraries.

Ephemera

This subseries consists of L.M. Montgomery and Anne of Green Gables related ephemera collected by Dr. Margaret Mackey and donated to the University of Alberta Libraries. It consists of two bags from Anne of Green Gables stores, a box for Anne of Green Gables chocolates, several pamphlets (in English, French, Japanese, and Polish), bookmarks, and stamps relating to the Anne of Green Gables centenary, a playbill, a page from a catalogue, and a TV Guide with an Anne of Green Gables article.

Books

This subseries consists of books relating to author Philip Pullman and his Dark Materials series of books that were collected by Dr. Margaret Mackey and donated to the University of Alberta Libraries. It contains various versions and editions of the His Dark Materials series, including a graphic novel and supplementary novels. There are also materials relating to the live-action adaptation of the first novel The Golden Compass that include activity books, game guides, magazines, and movie novelizations, and a collection of non-fiction work written about the His Dark Materials series, as well as works relating to the stage-play of the series, including a script and works on the play. This subseries consists of the following sub-subseries: His Dark Materials (1995-2015), The Golden Compass Movie Materials (2007), Other Works by Philip Pullman (1996-2000), Writings on His Dark Materials (2001-2009), and Stage Play Adaptation (2003-2004).

On Louisa May Alcott

This sub-subseries consists of non-fiction books related to Louisa May Alcott and her novel Little Women, that were collected by Dr. Margaret Mackey and donated to the University of Alberta Libraries. It contains a collection of reviews of Little Women, a collection aimed at young readers of Louisa May Alcott's diary entries, and biographies.

Audio Recordings

This subseries consists of audiotapes relating to Louisa May Alcott's Little Women collected by Dr. Margaret Mackey and donated to the University of Alberta Libraries. It contains unabridged and abridged cassette tape readings of Little Women.

Reports and Journals

This subseries consists of a collection of reports and journals collected by Dr. Margaret Mackey and donated to the University of Alberta Libraries. The materials deal with education (specifically the topics of English language and literature) among schools in North America and the United Kingdom, and reports on public and school libraries in those countries. This subseries consists of the following sub-subseries: Education Reports and Journals (1979-1984) and Library Reports and Journals (1980-1986).

Books

This subseries consists of books and magazines relating to L. Frank Baum and his novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, that were collected by Dr. Margaret Mackey and donated to the University of Alberta Libraries. It contains various versions and editions of the original book, books written by other authors that are set in or reference the world of Oz, non-fiction books about the Wizard of Oz and its 1939 live-action movie adaptation, or L. Frank Baum, and activity books. This subseries consists of the following sub-subseries: The Wizard of Oz (1934-2012), Related Books (1995-2014), and Non-fiction and Activity Books (1999-2017).

Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz that were collected by Dr. Margaret Mackey and donated to the University of Alberta Libraries.
