On the attached page are two photographs of nursing sisters who accompanied the Canadian contingent to South Africa, Sarah Forbes and Marcella P. Richardson. The caption under their photographs is: "Our Own Angels".

A warrant/certificate, 30.5 x 40.5 cm, issued to Samuel Benfield Steele and appointing him as an Officer in the Land Forces of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, with the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel. Issued on February 21st, 1900 and effective from March 7th, 1900. A seal is attached to the certificate.

A Pure Design furniture catalogue for 2001. Pure Design is a furniture company based in Corning, New York but the contact information in the catalogue lists a location in Edmonton, Alberta. The catalogue is marked as Volume 7.0. The photographer of the furniture is listed as Darren Jacknishy and the graphic designer is listed as Denise Ahlefeldt. The catalogue has various images of different types of furniture from Pure Design along with short write-ups about each piece. In the top right corner of each odd-numbered page, dimensions for the displayed items are listed. The furniture items depicted include shelves, stools, chairs, various sizes of tables, mirrors, and accessories. Near the end of the catalogue, there is a page devoted to listing all the designers. Each designer has a photograph and a short write-up. On the cover of the catalogue, there is a sticker that reads “ICFF International Contemporary Furniture Fair. 2001 ICFF Editor Awards.
