Contains 1 B&W architect's drawing of the proposed development titled "Edmonton City Center" [by Lorimer and Rose, Architects and Engineers, and L. E. Detwiler, Management Consultant].

The proposed agreement addresses the following points:

A brochure for the Van Gogh Museum Edition On Tour Exclusive Canadian Launch at the centre court of Southgate Centre in Edmonton, Alberta. The exhibition was held from October 16 to November 15, 2015 and put on by the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The exhibition consisted of nine identical replicas of several of Vincent Van Gogh's paintings called “Reliefographs.” The brochure provides photographs of each of the paintings as well as a description paragraph for each. The brochure also provides instructions for entering a contest to win a trip to Amsterdam.

The leaflet provides information about the company such as the production process of coal, the average coal seams on the property, the need for increased output of coal, yearly outputs and cost of production, why the company is a safe investment, mine management, and a recent auditor’s report of the mining account for the financial period ending on February 28, 1910. Shares for the company are advertised as costing $100 each.

A souvenir menu for a Canadian Pacific Airlines flight for The Boy Scouts Association of Canada in July 1957. The flight route is listed as Vancouver, British Columbia to Edmonton, Alberta to London, England. On the cover of the menu is a colour photograph print of the Kicking Horse River. Inside the menu is an illustration of the globe with the Canadian Pacific Airline routes marked. The menu also includes a paragraph about the history and geographic details of Greenland. The menu listed for the flight consists of a Luncheon and a Jamboree Dinner. Throughout the menu pages, there are various signatures and handwritten notes. All of the names of the flight crew have also been written down.

A set of stamp sheets from the 2012 Alberta Youth Stamp Design Contest. The first page is a letter from the project manager of the context, John Attrell, addressed to the sponsors of the Edmonton Stamp Club in Edmonton, Alberta. The letter states that the souvenir package of stamps included is a gift of appreciation for the recipient’s support. The package includes the genuine stamps themselves along with printed pages that are nearly identical to the stamp pages. There are four stamp designs in total.

The register pages are divided into five columns to mark down the date, the name of the guest, their town of residence, their room number at the hotel, and their time of arrival, although it is primarily only the name, residence, and room columns that are used in this ledger. The name of the hotel is not mentioned in the register, although the majority of the guests resided in towns in Alberta, primarily Edmonton, so presumably the hotel was also in Alberta. On the inside of the back cover, there are several handwritten notes regarding price charges to specific guests.

A general letter from Louis W. Heard, the President of the Beacon Group No.1 of the Youth Division Alberta Social Credit League in Edmonton, Alberta. The letter is addressed to “the Supporters Who made my Trip to the Youth Congress Possible!” The letter is dated June 16, 1938. The letter outlines L.W. Heard’s experience at the Congress and their efforts to ensure the Social Credit League was accepted at the Congress and not ostracized, as well as the events of the Congress. The letter also reiterates the goals and objectives of the Alberta Social Credit League and thanks the recipients for their donation that made the trip to Congress possible.

A printed copy of a broadcast titled “The Country System of Local Self-Government” by the Honourable C.E. Gerhart, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Provincial Secretary Government of the Province of Alberta. The broadcast was done on October 16, 1950, in Edmonton, Alberta. The broadcast discusses The County Act in Alberta which was proclaimed on July 1, 1950. The purpose of the act was to support farmers and provide “an alternative form of government for the rural school divisions, hospital districts, and municipalities.” The broadcast offers nine different reasons as to why The County Act is viewed as a solution to issues experienced by the residents of Alberta.

A B&W photograph of a massive miniature model of The Holy Land with two American flags hanging beside it. A sign in the background of the photograph indicates the model in a masonic hall in Detroit, Michigan. The caption on the photograph states that the model is made up of about 60,00,000 pieces and 1100 electrically moving figures. The model was created in Edmonton, Alberta by the Gauci Brothers Builders. They started building the model in 1914 and it took them around 10 years to complete. In the top right corner of the photograph is a composite photograph of the faces of the two brothers and their names captioned underneath. Joseph W. Gauci was the originator and designer, and Salvator Gauci was the mechanical supervisor. The model was so popular that it toured around Canada and the United States of America for nearly 40 years.

Correspondence from the secretary of John George Diefenbaker, dated July 17, 1969. It is a response to a request from Mr. R. Lynn Ogden for a portrait of the former Prime Minister of Canada and explains the delay. The photograph is autographed, dedicated "with best wishes" to Mr. Ogden, and dated July 15, 1969. The envelope also bears the politician's signature in stamp form, as well as a 1st class mail label, a note that reads "Photograph - Do Not Bend," and Mr. Ogden's Edmonton, Alberta address.

A program for the North American premiere of Hiawatha by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, performed at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium from June 2-4, 1958. A list of the headlining performers as well as the producer and conductor come complete with photographs and actual signatures. Also contains a description of the three acts, the names of everyone in the choir and orchestra, "Messages to John Havard from former associates," notes from Mayor Hawrelak and the president of Western Concerts Limited, acknowledgements, a note about the plow used on stage in the third act, and congratulations (advertisement) from Northwestern Utilities, Limited. The name Kay Stensrud is written on the front cover, top right corner.

A short biography of the northern apostle, Bishop V. Grandin, Oblate of Mary Immaculate. Bishop Grandin was the first bishop of St. Albert, Alberta who died on June 3, 1902. The booklet was printed by “La Survivance” Printing Ltd. in Edmonton, Alberta in 1945. The booklet outlines the bishop’s life from his birth, to his extensive career, to his death. The booklet also includes several B&W printed photographs of significant locations and buildings in the bishop’s life. Inside the booklet is a small one-page program for Mary’s Day, 1955.

An Alberta Horticultural Guide pamphlet from the Alberta Horticultural Advisory Committee for the period of 1989 to 1991. The pamphlet was printed by the Print Media Branch in Edmonton, Alberta. The pamphlet provides information to assist the growth of various fruits, vegetables, and ornamental plants. Small advertisement card inlaid in pamphlet for the London and Lancashire Guarantee & Accident Co.

The first issue of Marker magazine is titled “The Inaugural Issue.” This issue of the Marker was independently published magazine in Edmonton, Alberta in 2012. The magazine was published four times per year. The goal of the magazine was to “celebrate the work of creative and progressive minds in the worlds of art, culture and music while presenting a socially conscious view of current events.” The magazine was founded by Brnesh Berhe, who was also the editor-in-chief, publisher, and art director. The featured artist of this issue is Ben Stevenson, a music artist from Edmonton, Alberta. The magazine also contains several other articles about arts and culture.

A pamphlet advertising Hardcover, Edmonton’s artist’s book and zine fair on December 6th and 7th, 2014. The pamphlet advertises various workshops occurring at Snap Printshop, some talks occurring around the city, and the various participants in the book and zine fair. When the pamphlet is unfolded to a half and trifold, there are instructions for some zine and bookbinding techniques as well as some book terminology. When the pamphlet is fully unfolded, there is a poster on the back that reads “I have always imaged that paradise will be a kind of library” which is a quote by Jorge Luis Borges.
