Notes are accompanied by attendence lists for meetings, which are glued onto unused pages in the book. The blue-colored pages at the front of the book record the officer's roll-call for meetings during the year, with the names of lodge officers being listed. The pages near the end of the book feature a handwritten membership list for the lodge.

Contains filled-out application forms for membership in the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Enginmen, Northern Lights Lodge No. 127. Each form contains the name and personal information of the applicant, including their profession and length of work, his the name of his sponsor, and the signatures of the approving committee members. In addition, in printed text, each form includes the terms and conditions associated with making an application to the brotherhood.
Contains a list of handwritten entries, identifying beneficiaries in the event of death of members of union, organized alphabetically. Each entry includes the name of the member, the beneficiary, the relationship between the two, membership information, and the date and number of the relevant beneficiary certificate.
Pamphlets cover a wide range of important topics in the world communism, including the Sino-Soviet dispute. Includes a large number of pamphlets from the British Communist Party and its allies, and pamphlets printed in Albania.
Accession consists of photographs of A.E. Ottewell used in the Evergreen and Gold yearbook.
