Two (2) B&W prints joined to make a panoramic view of Blairmore, AB and the surrounding area. Words “Photo by Ingham” written in the top left corner of one photo. Both prints have small tears and chipped corners. Captioned in pencil.

PE000485 - Man shooting can off cottage roof, near Craik, SK

Large B&W print, mounted, of a very small cottage on a grassy prairie plain, surrounded by four men in three horse-drawn wagons. A man in the wagon behind the cottage is pointing a rifle at a tin can on the cottage’s roof. According to dealer’s notes the picture was taken near Craik, Saskatchewan.

B&W print showing a group of Polish farmers of Tide Lake picnicking on the banks of the Red Deer River. Print is annotated in [Polish] on the back; a translation taped to the print reads “The group immigrated from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Strathmore, Alberta in 1908 and moved to Tide Lake in 1910.” Print appears to be a picture of a picture; the bottom right hand side has been folded.

Most prominently, it features a front view of the Savoy Hotel; there is a rectangular building which appears to be a convenience store (it has a Coca Cola sign on its side), various houses, barns; there are hydro and telephone poles. The Marshall Memorial is also visible.

Photograph depicts a medium shot of the front of the Dundurn Victory Loan office located in Dundurn, Saskatchewan. There are two women and two men standing by the windows and entrance, respectively. The Victory Loan posters displayed on the windows include the Victory Loan logo and the year 1918.

A b&w photograph depicting a farm scene. On the right there is a team of horses pulling a wagon while the driver stands at the front of the wagon. In the foreground there is a cultivator being pulled by a tractor with two men driving. The photograph looks to be a compilation of 3 separate photos, as there are definitive edges in the middle of the photograph, and there is binding on the back between the three. Handwriting on the back states: "Sam and Frank Taylor on engine. Alberta Canada 1911-1912." Badly faded writing at the top states: "I used this one to ?? as I only have the one printed."

B&W studio photograph by the ‘Miss Harris, Estevan' company. The six subjects are arranged in two rows. A woman crouches beside one of the two seated men and she rests her hands on his shoulder. She looks at him and while he, like all of the others, looks to the photographer he does wear a huge grin. All three women wear hats. The men’s regalia correspond to that of an Orange Order lodge in Carduff, NWT.

Korbin, “Phat” Taylor, Trainer “Curly” Lyne[rest of name illegible] Final game: against Melville’.

These rectangular shots appear to be in front of the same solid colour backdrop, and all subjects are photographed up close in 3/4 profile. Pictures are not labeled. They look to be highschool or college students except for an older male with a hairstyle and glasses indicating the 1950s and who is likely a teacher.

Photo contains portraits of the 1923-24 Normal School Class from Vorkton, Saskatchewan.  Other than the principal and inspector who are in a rectangular frame, all the other portraits are oval. The men all wear collared shirts, ties, and jackets. Each person has their name written in tiny writing underneath their photo.
