Brass plaque from Athabasca Hall to accompany flat: "In 1919 a group of students presented this flag to Athabasca Hall to remind future generations of those members of this University who died in the great war. Over the years it has become traditional for the Chairman of the House Committee to sit at the head of the table beneath this flag."
