When translated the English, the title of each publication is “Calendar.”The first volume was published in 1918 and the second volume was published in 1919. The covers and binding appear handmade from hide. The two volumes when translated to English contain articles about current events and cultural events relevant to the Ukrainian settlers in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Throughout the volumes, there are multiple illustrations and photographs. The volumes also include several advertisements for local companies.

Invoices and receipts span the period of time from 9 December 1966 to 16 December 1966, and record the Date [Day/Month], Place Called, Code [1 - Operator; 2 - "From 3rd. No."; or 4 - Collect], Number Called, and Amount [in dollars] for each long-distance call made from Donald McFadden's telephone number. The invoice also includes the total amount [in dollars] due on the account.
All but two receipts are stamped in black ink with the date and "Received Payment".

A collection of financial materials related to Donald McFadden and his farm in Rivers, Manitoba that have been kept together as they were received from the donor. Consisting primarily of receipts and invoices, most documents are printed forms with handwritten or typed entries. Includes two handwritten notes on paper scraps, carbon copied receipts, several receipts that do not indicate proprietor and/or date, and a bundle of receipts from various motel stays indicating a trip to the United States in January of 1966.
