This subseries consists of the personal files of Dr. Margaret Mackey relating to Beatrix Potter and Peter Rabbit that were collected and donated to the University of Alberta Libraries. It contains newspaper cutouts, correspondences, printouts of various news articles and web pages, scans of newspaper and magazine articles and pages from various editions of The Tale of Peter Rabbit, recipes, and the personal writings of Dr. Margaret Mackey on the subject of Beatrix Potter and Peter Rabbit, which includes academic writings and handwritten notes taken on various adaptations of Peter Rabbit. As well as works that relate to adaptations of Peter Rabbit in different forms of media.

This subseries consists of Beatrix Potter and Peter Rabbit collectibles that were collected by Dr. Margaret Mackey and donated to the University of Alberta Libraries. It contains Peter Rabbit stuffed animals and figures, Peter Rabbit/Beatrix Potter themed Barbie dolls, calender's, sticker collections, bookmarks, containers, clothing, posters, and puzzles.

Electronic Games and Software

This subseries consists of electronic computer software, on CD-Rom and floppy disc, that are related to Tale of Peter Rabbit and that were collected by Dr. Margaret Mackey and donated to the University of Alberta Libraries. It contains interactive storybooks, and a demo disc from the magazine CD-Rom Today which contains a Peter Rabbit math game.

This subseries consists of video recordings (both official releases and TV recordings) related to Beatrix Potter and The Tale of Peter Rabbit, that were collected by Dr. Margaret Mackey and donated to the University of Alberta Libraries. It contains both live-action and animated adaptations The Tale of Peter Rabbit and its sequels, adapted for film and television. It also contains a DVD of the 2006 Hollywood dramatization of Beatrix Potter's life, and recordings of the Royal Opera Houses's rendition of the Tales of Beatrix Potter.

This series consists of materials collected by Dr. Margaret Mackey and donated to the University of Alberta Libraries. It contains fictional and non-fiction books in a variety of formats relating to Beatrix Potter and her character Peter Rabbit, a collection of ephemeral materials, video adaptations on DVD and VHS, electronic games and other computer software, audiobooks on cassette tape, and various collectibles.
