The album largely consists of B&W photographs of hydroelectric dams and power plants in the Canadian Rockies, particularly Banff, Kananaskis Country, Seebe, Ghost River, and the Horseshoe Dam. Of particular note are approximately 24 photographs showing the aftermath of the fire that destroyed the Horseshoe plant in 1940 and approximately 20 photographs showing the construction of the Ghost Hydroelectric Dam.

The album also contains some personal photographs, including landscapes, wildlife, Boy Scout and Cub Scout events, houses, family portraits, children, Indigenous people in Banff, and photographs commemorating trips taken in Western Canada and the United States.

Additionally included is a list of executives and committee members, as well as a number of advertisements for local businesses. Several pages have been left intentionally blank to allow for notes.
