This decision stated that the Federal government of Canada rather than the provinces, is permited to exploit offshore minerals, lands, and other natural resources. Some discussion of international territorial waters in Canadian waters and specifically in the Canadian Arctic. File also includes a 2009 reflection of the events of the Offshore claims by Dr. Ritchie.
