"The material in this pamphlet is largely reproduced from a special co-operative issue of The Western Producer, published November 24, 1927. On no occasion prior to the publication of this issue had Saskatchewan Wheat Pool members been given so detailed a review of all the activities and departments of the organization. In view of the reception which was accorded the issue by Pool members, and in view of the fact that newspapers are not adapted to convenient preservation, this pamphlet has been issued in the hope that it will be preserved by Pool members and used for reference purposes whenever the need may arise."
