Message from 9th Canadian Infantry Brigade to 43rd, 52nd, 58th and 166th Battalion’s first officers stating that the Village of Thieulloy is out of bounds to troops due to foot and mouth disease, and that Founcamps and Bussy-Le-Oix are out of bounds due to measles. Handwritten.
Orders stating that casualties to horses due to nails in the Canadian Corps were higher than any other corps, providing the example that a unit of the 20th Division recently picked up 58 lbs. of nails in one hour, and ordering that energetic steps be taken to reduce the number of such casualties.
Corp. Leonard Bauer served with the Regina Rifles. He writes of war conditions (such as would be allowed by the Army censor), the condition of wounded soldiers, parcels he has received, sleeping in the trenches, “smoking Jerry cigars”, taking prisoners who are happy “to get out of the war”, breaking into a German safe, of being discharged and more.

Correspondence between Ann ten Cate of B.C. Archives and John Keenlyside, donor of the Keenlyside Ku Klux Klan Collection. Various newspaper clippings regarding the Ku Klux Klan presence in British Columbia are also included.
This archival collection contains a variety of documents pertaining to the fur trade and other political events in Canada between the years 1676 and 1933. Specifically, it contains printed material regarding the formation of the colony of British Columbia and its incorporation into Canada, as well as manuscripts that describe agreements and treaties made between the governments of the United States and Britain. The archive includes a wide range of business documents, including promissory notes, warrants, and other legal documents relating to payments and goods. It also contains a selection of Voyageur Contracts and documents pertaining to the Hudson's Bay Company and the North West Company.
