The woman is wearing a backless dress, white high-heeled shoes, and a cuff bracelet and jeweled earrings. The man is wearing a light-coloured suit and glasses with thick frames. Other dancing couples can be seen in the background.
"The New Highwaymen" depicts 4 well-dressed adults, 2 men and 2 women, smiling while seated around a table with plates of food, drinks, and packages of cigarettes on the table in front of them. The men are wearing suits. The women are wearing dresses or blouses with jeweled necklaces, earrings, rings, and brooches.
A postcard advertising “Comrades Night” hosted by the Canukeena Club at the Marlborough Hotel. The president of the club is listed as C.B. Howden and the secretary is listed as W. Ross Carter. The postcard is addressed to Brigadier T.V. Anderson, D.S.O. at the Fort Osborne Barracks in Winnipeg, Manitoba and stamped on March 18, 1933.
