Beginning in 1898, issues contain reprinted serials (primarily school stories and comic stories from "Golden Hours"); the rights to many of these stories would later be purchased by Street and Smith in 1902 and used (with editorial changes) in some of their weeklies, including Nick Carter Weekly and Old Broadbrim Weekly.
