Scope and content
The collection consists of published volumes of political cartoons and other volumes illustrated by cartoonists. While primarily Canadian, a few American and British cartoonists are also represented. There are also a few biographies of cartoonists and related (non-illustrated) examples of Canadian humour.

The Ewasechko Canadian Political Cartoon Collection is housed at the University of Alberta Library's Research and Collections Resource Facility (RCRF). It is available to students, staff, and the general public for use at a supervised reading room at RCRF or Bruce Peel Special Collections. Pre-1920 material from the collection has been transferred to the Bruce Peel Special Collections unit of the library, with the exception of 22 files which have been retained in box 13.
