Administrative history

The University of Alberta’s Chinese Students’ and Scholars Association (CSSA) helps new Chinese students and scholars adapt to the new academic and cultural environment, assists Chinese students and scholars on academic and working challenges, endeavours to promote Chinese culture, and establishes friendship between other Chinese and Canadian organizations. The aim of the CSSA is to represent Chinese students and scholars in expressing their wishes and help them to realize their entitled rights and legal interests. They also coordinate and organize social activities such as movie parties, various traditional performances, and other scientific and cultural events.
