Script for a one-act play promoting the Temperance Movement in Canada.
A woman and her daughter are in a car accident caused by their chauffeur, who was intoxicated. They are helped by the druggist, who puts out an ad to hire a new chauffeur who is "a strictly temperate man". Four men arrive to apply. Three admit to consuming alcohol; the fourth advocates for prohibition as his father was killed by an intoxicated driver. They hire the fourth. The play concludes with a chorus singing "Temperance songs".
