The location of the office is listed on both advertisement cards as 64 Fort St. The first card has a big red circle on the front that lists their telephone number as 172 and has a list of Manitoba legislature members on the back along with their constituency and political status. The second card advertises G.F. Landon’s services such as house-building, estimates given, additions, alterations, and repairs, and general carpentry work, and there is a list of towns and their distances from Winnipeg, Manitoba on the back.

An advertisement and tourism brochure for Regina, Saskatchewan, the “Queen City of the Plains.” The booklet was published by the Regina Board of Trade in the [1940s]. The booklet provides a brief description of Regina’s history and its current industry. The booklet is full of various photographs of places in Regina such as main streets, important buildings, parks, and industrial scenes.

A 12-month Grain Shipping Calendar for 2016 to 2017 from G3 Canada Limited, a shipping company based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The calendar is a stand-up desk calendar. One side of the calendar has each month displayed beginning with August 2016 and ending with July 2017 and beside each week is a green number indicating the shipping week. On the other side of the calendar displays four colour photographs of shipping vessels and the contact information for G3 Canada Limited.

A brochure advertising SeCan retailers for wheat and soybeans in Manitoba, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. SeCan is a seed supplier for farmers across Canada and is based in Ottawa, Ontario. The brochure provides information about various types of soybeans, their characteristics, and what the soybean plants look like at various stages of growth. The brochure also includes several bar graphs depicting soybean yield results by various planting methods in 2017. On the back of the brochure, there is the contact information for numerous SeCan retail locations across the Prairies, and a note indicating that SeCan is listed as a subsidiary of Monsanto Canada, Inc.

A brochure advertising Global Container Terminals Canada, a terminal operating company based in Vancouver, British Columbia for shippment vessels. The main brochure outlines the features of the GCT Vanterm and GCT Deltaport terminals, as well as details about how terminals are built, and the benefits of using Global Container Terminals for shipping. The main brochure includes several photographs of shipping containers and vessels, as well as a map of Canada indicating the primary ports across the country. The advertisement card laid-in to the main brochure provides a brief description of the company as well as further details about the GCT Deltaport terminal. Both the brochure and the card list contact information for the company.

Three advertisement cards for the Liebig’s Extract of Meat Company. The company was started in the United Kingdom and named after Baron Justice Von Liebig, the organic chemist who developed this particular method of beef extract. The images on the fronts of the cards depict various Canadian scenes with information on the back describing the scenes, as well as some information about the meat extract product. The backs of the cards also have printed blue signatures of Justice Von Lieberg, the company’s namesake and director. The first card depicts the Canadian Pacific railway. The second card depicts a camp of fur trappers near Mount Robson in the Rocky Mountains. The third card depicts “Lentil Lake” in the Rocky Mountains, although the French translation for this card may not be entirely accurate, as “lentilles d’eau” can also mean “duckweed.”

A framed advertisement for Clark and Weedon in [1874] who are advertising their services as real estate agents, house agents, and auctioneers. The flyer states they have for sale numerous farms, town lots, and houses for rent at great prices. The company is located in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Collection of cards, including postcards, greeting cards, business cards, wedding invitations, memorial or funeral cards, Christmas and holiday cards, and birthday cards, sent and received by William Stanger and the Stanger family, and other ephemera, including advertisements, receipts, pamphlets, memoranda books, and newspaper clippings collected by William Stanger and the Stanger family.

Of note are an advertisement for The Great-West Life Assurance Company which includes the 1904 yearly calendar and a sewing needle attached to a blue fabric patch; a small metal plaque [7x10.5cm] which reads "William Stanger - Blacksmith - Longford Mill" and has a design of a hammer, tongs, and anvil etched into it; and a "Travel Wheel" which lists routes and the distance in miles to various cities and towns across Canada (as well as locations in Washington, Minnesota, and Wisconsin) from a starting point of Winnipeg.

A booklet written in Dutch about living in Manitoba, Canada in 1885. The title and caption on the front cover, translated to English, reads “200 million fields for colonization in Manitoba and the great Northwest of America. A free hearth of 160 fields (65 hectares) is available to every head of a family as well as to every male colonist who has reached the age of eighteen.” The foldout map at the beginning of the booklet depicts Manitoba which is outlined in red. The booklet discusses various topics about Manitoba such as the climate, dairy farming, land grants, and labour wages. There are also several information sections about the other provinces in Canada. The booklet was printed by Turner & Dunnett in Liverpool, England.

A brochure providing information on employment prospects in Canada, and advertisement for travel by "Allan Royal Mail Line Express Turbine Steamers." Photographs include second and third class accommodations, prairie towns and farms, Montreal, and the R.M.S. "Virginia" steamer. The front page reads "For Handbooks of Information, Sailing dates, &c., apply to G. F. Burnham, King Street, RYE."

A booklet provided by the Government of the Dominion of Canada containing photographs, maps, and predominantly agricultural information intending to encourage settlement in the western provinces. Published prior to 1905 and the present-day provincial configuration, the maps display boundaries for the territories of Assiniboia, Athabasca, Mackenzie, Franklin, Keewatin, and Ungava. The title reads "Homes for Millions in Western Canada's Vast Agricultural Domain of Virgin Opportunity and Infinite Resources."

The verso is a map of Canada, dated 1905 but prior to September and the formation of modern provincial borders, and includes the territories of Athabasca, Mackenzie, Franklin, Keewatin, and Ungava.

An immigration enticement publication issued by the Canadian Pacific Railway Company that includes information on "farming, mining, lumbering, ranching, and fruit growing" in the province of British Columbia. A fold-out map is tipped in before the first page "showing the lines of the Canadian Pacific Railway" in southern B.C. and Alberta, and includes some of northern Washington and Montana. Another map printed on the inside of the front cover shows the C.P.R. across Canada, and another closer view of the area around Ottawa, Ontario showing "Eastern lines and connections," dated February 2, 1905. The name C. Green is handwritten on the top of both front and back covers, as well as on page 5 and dated September 4, 1908.

A booklet about Regina, the capital of Saskatchewan and “its advantages as a commercial and residential centre” in 1906. The booklet highlights some of the notable buildings and developments in Regina, the growing industry, and the general progress of the city. The photographs included in the booklet depict different parts of the city such as farm scenes, government buildings, banks, residential homes, and various street scenes. The final page of the booklet is a fallout panoramic printed photograph of a bird’s eye view of Regina. The booklet was published by The Regina Board of Trade and printed by The Leader Press in Regina, Saskatchewan.

A leaflet for the Edmonton Standard Coal Company in Edmonton, Alberta relaying general information about the company and share options for investment. The coal mine in Edmonton, Alberta started producing coal in January 1906. The leaflet was printed around [1910?] by Rous & Mann. Limited Printers in Toronto, Ontario. The leaflet provides information about the company such as the production process of coal, the average coal seams on the property, the need for increased output of coal, yearly outputs and cost of production, why the company is a safe investment, mine management, and a recent auditor’s report of the mining account for the financial period ending on February 28, 1910. Shares for the company are advertised as costing $100 each.

A small folded booklet titled “How the Loyal Employees of a Winnipeg Factory Supported Victory Loan On Opening Day.” When the booklet is unfolded, it reveals a B&W panoramic photograph print of a large group of employees of the Swift Canadian Company Ltd. The caption reads “500 Loyal Employees, or 94 per cent of the Swift Canadian Co. Ltd. have bought Victory Bonds– 80 per cent of these people are of foreign birth. Who can refuse to buy VICTORY BONDS.” The Swift Canadian Company Ltd, founded in 1911, was located in Winnipeg, Manitoba and was a wholesaler for a variety of goods such as meat, dairy, and poultry. Victory Loans or Victory Bonds were Canadian government appeals for money to assist in financing the war efforts for WWI and WWII.

The first student publication from the Nutana Collegiate Institute, when it was still the Saskatoon Collegiate Institute, and bearing the title "The Collegiate Hermes." Subtitled "Semper Paratus" (Always Ready), it includes history and information on the collegiate, student writing samples, athletics report, notable alumni (some names redacted), and advertisements for local businesses. The name Clifford Bell [?] is written on the front cover.

A small book containing statistics and photographs of the town of Prince Albert, "Saskatchewan's coming Manufacturing centre." To be used as an advertisement to draw people to the area, by steamship and estate agents Wilkinson & Sibbald.

A booklet from The Tuttle Land Company in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, titled “Evidence.” The company sells and rents out farmland. The booklet includes various testimonies from farmers and photographs of farms and farmers in the Macoun-Halbrite District in Saskatchewan. The photographs were taken in the Fall of 1911. The purpose of the booklet is to provide evidence that scientific farming produces results and that “Farming Pays” in the district. The Tuttle Land Company advertises their propositions such as securing renters from their customer's land, refunding money to farmers who purchase their land and cultivate at least 75% of it, and they will refund car fare and expenses to anyone who inspects their land and is unsatisfied. The final page of the booklet includes a cropped photograph print of the private train car owned by The Tuttle Land Company.

A booklet with in-depth information regarding farming and homesteading opportunities in Western Canada, "the Granary of the British Empire," published by the Canadian Pacific Railway Department of Natural Resources. It covers Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia and contains photographs of geographical features and agricultural functions. A large fold-out map is tipped-in after the last page and shows "system of land survey and lines of the Canadian Pacific Railway Company."

The booklet is divided into sections based primarily on genre, although some sections are based on age or book series. Several books are listed in each category along with the author’s name, the price, and a general comment about the book. Near the back of the booklet are four order forms that recipients of the booklet can tear out and send to the bookstore.

A 1926 Riley & McCormick, Limited catalogue titled “Cowboy Equipment Harness Saddles Catalogue No. 10.” The catalogue is from 1926 and the company was located in Calgary, Alberta. The catalogue provides instructions for ordering products or cancelling orders. The rest of the catalogue consists of illustrations of various products sold by Riley & McCormick, Limited along with short descriptions of each. The products listed in the catalogue range from saddles, to leather chapps, to hats, to harnesses. The final two pages of the catalogue are tearaway order forms that can be sent to the company.

A school paper, reminiscent of a yearbook, from Kelvin Technical High School in Winnipeg, dated April 1926. Includes stories, poetry, photographs, athletics reports, and advertisements for local businesses, as well as general information about the school and a list of the editorial staff. This copy appears to have belonged to Margaret Forsyth, and the inside of the front cover and first page are covered with classmate signatures.

Vol. I, No. 8 of the Alberta Sun. The headlining article is "Who's Who in the City of Calgary" and features a portrait of Geo. Ingraham, "one of Calgary's best known and most progressive young business men." Other articles include "Government Tells About Future of the Telephone," "Mussolini Showing Italy's Naval Force to Colonials in Tripoli," and "Crews of Ships Smuggle Drugs into Dominion." The fourteenth annual Vegreville Summer Fair Prize list and Exhibition Guide which was held in Vegreville, Alberta, from July 28 to July 30, 1930. The guide includes two entry forms, one for livestock and one for all departments aside from livestock, that could be submitted to the exhibition before July 25, 1930. The book includes information about the rules and regulations for the exhibition, prize options for the different livestock categories, and prize options for the various agriculture and horticulture categories. The booklet also includes various advertisements for local businesses.

The fourth publication of the Saskatchewan yearbook for the year 1930. The yearbook was printed by The Western Printers Ass’n, LTD in Regina, Saskatchewan. The price of the yearbook at the time was 50 cents. The yearbook highlights Saskatchewan’s growth and development over the year 1930 and provides biographical sketches about important political figures who are active in the province. The yearbook reports on a wide variety of subjects like postal rates, the court system, different cities in Saskatchewan, notable events, sports, and several prominent universities and colleges.

An illustrated catalogue from Familex Products, subtitled "Specially Adapted to our Canadian Homes." Products were available only through dealers, and consist of toilet, "Medecinal," and household preparations, which include lotions, shampoos, cleaning agents, "Culinary Flavers," basic medicinal products, and several livestock disease treatments. The local dealer information is stamped on the back cover and reads "G. A. Odell, Queen St., Petrolia, Ont."

VOL. XVI, No. 1 of the Hermes. Includes photographs and write-ups on the graduating classes of the year, short stories and poems by students, information and photographs of various clubs and sports teams and other school updates, and advertisements for local businesses. The front cover bears a gold foil image of a version of the caduceus with winged shoes.

The 1931 spring catalogue of supplies for the ranching and livestock industry, "Issued by Canadian Co-operative Wool Growers Limited, and Wool Growers Associations Throughout Canada." Includes advertisements for products such as sheep dips and dipping tanks, ear punches and labels, worm tablets and ointments, shears, clippers, bells, castrators, and fencing. Laid-in after the first page is a blank "Requisition for Sacks and Twine" form and another "Stockman's Supplies" order form on the same page, meant to be detached from each other via perforation.

A brochure from 1932 celebrating 50 years of the Campbell Bros. & Wilson, Limited Company, a wholesale grocery and provision business. The brochure states that the company was founded in 1882 in Winnipeg, Manitoba and expanded to cities such as Saskatoon, Regina, Swift Current, Moose Jaw, Calgary, Lethbridge, Edmonton, Red Deer, and Grande Prairie. The brochure consists of various profiles of employees of the company and information about the different establishments in different cities.
Also includes an envelope for the brochure with a blue shield-shaped logo that says "Royal Shield Brand of Goods 50 Years."

An advertisement card for the 1932 World’s Grain Exhibition and Conference in Regina, Saskatchewan. The conference was held from July 25 to August 6, 1932. The card advertises the event as a “Great International Seed Grain Exhibition” and states there will be “Over $200,000.00 In Cash Awards.” The card also states that the conference is for agriculturists and those interested in cereal production.

An advertisement calendar for "J. H. Kemp, Implements, Trucks, Autos and Wholesale Oils, Olds, Alta." Features a logo for "McCormick-Deering International Harvester Farm Machines." Art print is a painting of a young Norwegian peasant girl holding a wooden bucket and standing in a meadow among fjords, captioned "In the Land of the Midnight Sun" by Hans Dahl. Calendar contains moon phase information. "4/48" is written on the back.

An advertisement calender for "Revillon Frères Trading Company Limited, 10356 101st Street Edmonton, Alta." Lists 10 locations as Eastern and Western Agencies. Art print is a painting of two men preparing to launch a canoe, one with a large sack (presumably camping gear) and captioned "Far from Human Haunts." Calendar contains moon phase information.

Vol. I, No. 3 of the Perroquet paper put out by Central Collegiate high school in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, dated November 28, 1933. It includes school updates, local news, athletics reports, short stories and poems submitted by students, jokes, and advertisements.

An advertisement by "American Express Travel Service" with information on a selection of guided tours to different locations throughout the United States and the Canadian Rockies. Title reads "National Parks, Canadian Rockies, California-Alaska," and included lists of destinations, schedules, prices, and photographs. The last page contains "General Information" on topics such as hotels, meal, baggage, rates for children, and withdrawals and cancellations.

A notice for new interest rates from the Alberta Government Savings Branch on savings certificates issued after January 1, 1935.

Tourism advertisement booklet produced by Canadian Pacific encouraging tourism to the Canadian Rockies. Inside front cover is a list of hotels and chalet-bungalow camps operated by Canadian Pacific. Inside back cover is a list of principal Canadian Pacific travel agencies throughout the world.

Includes information regarding: golf in Banff; the Banff Springs Hotel; "Indian Days" at the Calgary Stampede; recreational activities [fishing or angling; alpine climbing; horseback riding; special events in the Canadian Rockies in 1936 [Vancouver's Golden Jubilee; Sky Line Trail Hike; Amateur Golf Championships]; and a 2000-mile Alaska and the Yukon cruise.

A general letter from Louis W. Heard, the President of the Beacon Group No.1 of the Youth Division Alberta Social Credit League in Edmonton, Alberta. The letter is addressed to “the Supporters Who made my Trip to the Youth Congress Possible!” The letter is dated June 16, 1938. The letter outlines L.W. Heard’s experience at the Congress and their efforts to ensure the Social Credit League was accepted at the Congress and not ostracized, as well as the events of the Congress. The letter also reiterates the goals and objectives of the Alberta Social Credit League and thanks the recipients for their donation that made the trip to Congress possible.

Advertisement letter addressed to Icelandic Lutheran, in care of Social Secretary. Recommends hosting a "Toboggan Party" at River Park Toboggan Co. as part of their program for outdoor sports. Lists rates for parties of up to and over 35 persons and contact information.

Menu card lists prices for individual food items and meals at River Park Toboggan Company's Lunch Room.

A children's illustrated rhyming book about the evolution of transportation in Canada, provided by the Canadian Pacific Railway to young passengers. There is a blue card attached to the last page that reads "A Secret - This little book has been printed especially for the many Children who travel on the Canadian Pacific. It is all for them except the next two pages which are for Mother, Father or Grown-ups only - Tear off at perforation and the secret is out." The perforation has not been opened, but is known to contain information on dining accommodations available to passengers travelling with children. The inside of the back cover contains photographs of Canadian Pacific Hotels and a list of hostelries.

A yearbook for the year 1940 titled “The Light” for the Provincial Normal School in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. At the beginning of the yearbook, there is a message from the Honourable J.W. Estey, the Minister of Education of Saskatchewan and the principal of the school, Mr. C.P. Seeley. The portrait photographs of the graduates are placed vertically on each page and for each graduate there is a short corresponding poem about their school experiences or character. There are various handwritten annotations next to many of the portraits such as married names or if they are now deceased. There are also yearbook pages devoted to different clubs and their members. The final pages of the yearbook contain numerous handwritten signatures. The yearbook includes numerous advertisements for local businesses.

A collection of group and individual b&w portraits of soldiers from the First and Second Divisions of Military District Number 10. The last eight pages consist of various newspaper-style advertisements.

A yearbook for the Alberta Normal School in Edmonton for 1941-1942. Contents include a history of normal schools in Alberta, a dedication (opposite a colourized mounted photograph of a mountain scene with a bridge over a river), a message from the principal, poems and writing samples from students, photographs of students, staff, and scenes from campus, inspirational messages, and write-ups on sports teams and other activities and clubs. The last 25 pages are advertisements for local businesses, complete with its own directory. "Berthold Figur" written on the front loose endpaper.

Volume 8, Number 11 of the U. F. C. Information monthly publication from in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, dated October, 1945. Includes articles on the agricultural and livestock industries, local news, and advertisements for local businesses.

Telephone directory book for the Edmonton area and surrounding districts. The directory was published in January 1945. On the cover of the directory, people are instructed to call 100 for all fire-related calls. The directory also contains various illustrated advertisements for companies and their phone numbers. The directory is divided into different sections such as the municipal telephone system; rural subscribers; apartment houses, blocks and halls; the classified business directory; and Alberta government telephones. There are also included instructions for how to use a telephone.

An advertising brochure for Aureomycin ointment for dairy cows, claimed the "new "wonder-drug" for mastitis, better than penicillin!" Includes a Q&A, list of advantages, and usage instructions. Stamp on the front reads "The Braun Drug Co., Ltd. Box 427 Altona, : Man."

A promotional pamphlet for Panogen, distributed by Western Agricultural Supply Co. Ltd. in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Subtitled "The Modern Liquid Seed Disinfectant for Control of Seed-borne Diseases of Wheat, Barley, Oats, Flax, Rye, Sugar Beets." Includes information on effectiveness, customer reviews, and a Q&A section.

An advertisement for a chicken and turkey feed made with whey from Peebles Products Limited. Includes claims to improve hatchability and speed pullet developement, ingredients list, and guaranteed analysis. The back panel contains a handwritten note in pencil along the bottom edge that reads "50 lb block, 4.75"

An advertising pamphlet for enheptin (2 amino-5-nitrothiazole) and its use as a treatment for blackhead disease in poultry. Includes information on safety, effectiveness, dosage, and field trial results.

A information sheet/advertisement for the Nebraskan variety of turkey. Extols the virtues of the breed at length, including photographs, descriptions, and evidence intending to prove "the superiority of this outstanding turkey over all other breeds and varieties."

An advertisement calendar for Cardston Investment Company Limited, "Complete Insurance and Real Estate Service." The art print is captioned "Tight Dally and Loose Latigo," and shows a scene of two cowboys trying to wrangle a steer. A strip of paper residue indicates where the calendar pad was attached, but it is no longer present. The area that would have been behind it shows the months in a 4x3 grid and information on the art print and the artist, Charlie Russell.

An advertisement for turkey poults and breeding stock, including price list and shipping information, from Fraser Turkey Farm and Hatchery in Gunton, Manitoba.

A letter addressed to "Dear Producers" and titled "What About Eggs, Poultry and Turkeys for 1953?" It discusses storage levels of eggs in Canada and the United states, how this will affect prices of both produce and feeds, and that Feed-Rite products are reliable and economical. A list of Feed-Rite products is printed as a footnote at the bottom of the page.

A two page (single leaf) advertisement for Feed-Rite Mills products with prices, including water fountains, feeders, and "Brower's Egg, Fruit and Vegetable Baskets."

An advertisement book and program for the Optimists Club's Boys' Town annual meeting at Western Canada High School in Calgary, Alberta, dated May 26-27, 1954. It consists primarily of advertisements for local businesses, with the event program on a single-sided orange page in the center. Also includes a foreword, "The Optimist Creed," a photograph of the Royal Family, messages from Mayor D. H. Mackay and Chief Constable L. S. Partridge, a list the board of governors of the Calgary Optimist Club, captioned photographs of school sports teams, and information on some of the scheduled performers.

Large display brochure advertising "Rockyview Park", an event facility capable of hosting 150-1500 attendees located outside of Calgary, Alberta operated by Dale and Bev Hari. Brochure includes information on hosting Banquets, Barbecues, Entertainment, Christmas Parties, and Conventions. Also provides information on "Facilities unequalled in Calgary" and "Select[ing] your menu and style".

Includes a sample menu displaying "Year-round Favorites" and their Christmas Menu, as well as a building plan of the facilities and a map to the Rockyview Park grounds.

"Volume 11, No. 1." Trade publication from Barker Poultry Equipment Company. Products include pickers, scalders, eviscerating equipment, bird washers, coops, egg baskets, overhead conveyors, aprons, knives and hones, etc. Page 62 contains a list of jokes.

A catalogue and information booklet on Merck & Co. animal medications. The introduction discusses how "a great deal of animal experimentation" has put the company at "the forefront of research." Product list consists of 'Duostrep' injectable, sulfaquinoxaline solution (for drinking water medication), 'Floxaid' penicillin-streptomycin-vitamin mixture, and 'Hepzide' (nithiazide) soluble powder. Attached to the back cover is a letter from Dominion Veterinary Laboratories, addressed to "Dear Poultryman," inviting the recipient to look for their products at "your local Feed Manufacturer, Hatchery, or the usual place where you purchase your Poultry Supplies."

A booklet announcing the "Investiture of her Worship Charlotte Whitton, C. B. E., Mayor of Ottawa, into the Peigan Tribe of the Blackfoot Confederacy and Honorary Citizen of the Town of Fort Macleod" on Saturday July 1, 1961. Contains biographies with photographs of Whitton, Fort Macleod Stampede Chairman Dan Boyle, and Alberta Minister of Public Works James Hartley, some history of Fort Macleod, an address from Mayor Buzunis, and advertisements for various Alberta businesses.

Metal-framed print of a full-colour illustration in the style of a cross-stitch, depicting a woman wearing a chef's hat and apron carrying a pie to a wood-burning stove which is already covered with multiple other cooking pots. A teapot is in the bottom left corner and a cut-out in the print reveals a working mercury thermometer in the bottom right corner. Text, also in the style of a cross-stitch, reads "The hurrier I go the behinder I get".

A selection of singular receipts (1 per proprietor) for purchases made by Donald McFadden throughout the year of 1965. A bundle of four receipts for various motel stays by Mr. and Mrs. McFadden indicates a trip to the United States in mid-January. One receipt for "body repairs" on a Ford 300 does not indicate where the sale was made, and several others are too faded or worn to be read.

Receipts for purchases made by Don McFadden at Macleods, also stylized "Macleod's Limited" and "Macleods Family Shopping Centre." The three smaller till tape receipts have the purchased item names added to them by hand, and include "rope" and "hammer." The three larger receipts contain a list of brand names that can be found at Macleods on the verso.

Two travel brochures for Fort Steel Historic Park, one in orange and brown, and one in yellow and blue. Contains the history of the fort and its designation as a historic site, photographs and illustrations of various buildings, and maps of the fort and the surrounding area including parts of B.C., Alberta, Washington, and Montana.

A brochure titled “Flax Weed Control Guide” issued by May & Baker Ltd. in Calgary, Alberta. The brochure advertises two chemicals sold by May & Baker, ‘Buctril’ M for “Broad-leaved weed control in flax,” and Asulox F for “Wild oat control in flax.” The brochure contains various photographs and illustrations of different plants the chemicals can be used to eradicate, and also provides information about how to use each chemical and how to optimize their use. The year “1977” is handwritten on the cover page.

A brochure advertising Treflan, an herbicide for controlling the spread of the weed Green foxtail. Treflan is a product from the company Elanco in Calgary, Alberta. The brochure outlines the steps for using Treflan and includes illustrations of the process. On the back of the brochure, there are testimonials from farmers in Manitoba who have used the product, as well as a testimonial from Dr Elmer Stobbe from the Crop Science Department at the University of Manitoba. The year 1977 is handwritten on the cover of the brochure.

A brochure advertising Stampede, the “unique new herbicide for wheat and barley” sold by Rohm and Haas Canada Limited in Edmonton, Alberta and West Hill, Ontario. The pamphlet unfolds into an informative poster that has four photographs and testimonies from four farmers in the Prairies who used the product. The pamphlet and poster provide information about the herbicide in the form of a Q&A and also provide usage instructions. The year “1977” is written on the front of the brochure.

A brochure titled “Flax” published by the company, Elanco. The brochure advertises Treflan, a selective herbicide for weed control. The locations of the company are listed as Winnipeg, Manitoba and Calgary, Alberta. The brochure was written by Don Cruikshank, a farmer from Manitoba. The brochure provides information and illustrations about how to use the herbicide on flax crops to protect them from weeds. The year 1977 is handwritten in the top right corner of the brochure cover.

Three folders previously containing the 77th, 78th, and 79th annual reports of the United Grain Growers cooperative for the years (ending on July 31) of 1983, 1984, and 1985. They consist primarily of photographs and illustrations of various tractor models. The 77th annual report folder contains "Appendix G" which provides details on the tractors on the folder and includes a photograph of a computerized dashboard inside a tractor cab.

A small souvenir diagram of a Saskatchewan Wheat Pool elevator. The diagram is formed in the shape of a grain elevator and when the diagram is opened, the inside workings and mechanisms of a grain elevator are colourized and labelled. Also inside the diagram is a short description of how a wheat elevator functions and lists notable highlights of the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool. The diagram was created for the Saskatchewan Centennial in 2005.
