Administrative history

The Chinese Students’ and Scholars Association (CSSA) aims to assist new Chinese students and academics at the University of Alberta (U of A) adapt to their new cultural and academic environment. CSSA also helps Chinese students and scholars promote Chinese culture and establishes friendships with other Chinese and Canadian organizations. CSSA's objective is to express the wishes and realize their rights and legal interests of the Chinese community at the U of A. Throughout the year they also organize social events including movie parties, traditional performances, and scientific and cultural events.
