The project was sponsored by Zellers, which received a product placement in the story. The literacy-related content was approved by Multiculturalism and Citizenship Canada.
General note
Batman, with the help of two Canadian youths, pursues the Joker to various locations in Canada to prevent him from stealing rare books related to Canadian history. After the Joker is captured in Calgary, he is handed over to the R.C.M.P.
